The event was formally inaugurated by Dr. Ayesiga Herman, Acting Director of KCMC along with Prof. Blandina Mmbaga, Director of KCRI.

International Day of Women and Girls in Science 11th February
Remind Studies team is preparing for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science will be held on February 10, 2023, at KCCO Hall.
The plan is to bring together 10 girls students from different 5 schools, of which the total is expected to be 50 students. The programme will include inspiration, GBV, mental health and more others.

AIGHD Research Meeting via Zoom
Kennedy Ngowi will defend his PhD thesis on Remind Studies on 18th November 2022 at 10am CET (12pmEAT) in the Agnietenkapel at the Oudezijds Voorburgwal in Netherlands. His PhD is funded by EDCTP through fellowship of Marion Sumari.
22 November 2022: Perry Msoka & Iraseni Swai will attended the 15th Netherlands Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Epidemiology, Prevention and Treatment (NCHIV) is set to once again take place on-site at the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) in Amsterdam
24-25 November 2022: Marion Sumari & Rehema Maro will attend Global Health Network Conference, Capetown
The abstract of Dr. Iraseni Swai, the Doctor of the Remind Studies titled; Needs, contents and acceptability o fan SMS based digital adherence tool for children and adolescence living with HIV in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. A mixed method study from Sept 2021- March 2022 has been accepted by the Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA) 2022 which is going to be held in Kigali Rwanda from 13th-15th December 2022
